Hi, I’m Joe Dorri (M.A.), the founder of OpenWaters AI,

 

I'm excited to support you in your mission and business goals. I bring years of experience in artificial intelligence (AI) application, research, writing, and business strategy to help organizations integrate intelligent tools that improve how they operate and communicate.
 

My background includes:

 

• Psychology degree from the University of Southern California

• Master’s in education

• Business analytics training from Wharton School of Business

• Applied AI experience in researching, writing, data analyses, workflow optimization, and workplace engagement

I’ve taught at University of California, Los Angeles, spoken at national conventions like the American Psychological Association, and published scientific research and public-facing content. I specialize in workplace efficiency and high-EQ delivery of technical training—making AI tools usable and valuable for all skill levels.

I started OpenWaters AI to share my passion for human-centered AI that create greater opportunities for increased efficiency and creativity in work and life. I also greatly enjoy teaching and supporting organizations reach their goals. As the president of a nonprofit supporting student success, I’ve seen firsthand the power of integrative tools to create meaningful change.

Outside of consulting and training, I run a nonprofit, practice martial arts, and spend time with friends and in nature.
